About

Reuben Heath

Reuben never really stopped looking at buildings. With a background in architecture, he has always been drawn to their forms, details and character. Whether a building holds a personal connection or simply catches his eye, he enjoys honouring them through his art.

After leaving his childhood home, Reuben realised how much meaning a building can hold. A familiar place can become something you miss, like an old friend. This changed the way he saw buildings and the memories we attach to them.

Every building tells a story.

Reuben’s work explores the balance between precision and imperfection. He combines detailed fine liner drawings and vibrant acrylic paintings with distressed wooden surfaces, using texture, movement and weathered finishes to give each piece character.

He is drawn to the rustic, organic and aged, while maintaining a strong focus on detail and technical skill. The result is work that feels carefully considered but naturally imperfect.

Working alongside the name The Galleroo, Reuben continues to explore architecture, memory and the character found in imperfect things.

Born 2003, Worcester, England.
